This site has been created as a family website. It is our hopes that you find our site to be informative and entertaining. All contents of this website and direct links from it are believed to be safe for viewing by the whole family. However the Jim & Ann HOMPAGE cannot assume any responsibility for sites located outside of our own. If you find that a linked page has content that is unsuitable for family viewing, please inform us so that we can review and remove if need be.
Primarily this site's design is centered around our favorite links which will be found on just about all of our pages. The links listed on this site should give you a well rounded view of the world wide web. A few of the links are set up for South Eastern Massachusetts people. In most of these cases though there is a search for your area if you follow the link.
We have attempted to organize this sites contents and links in a manner that will make it easy for us to manage and easy to use for even the novice web surfer. There are three ways to get around this site right from the front page. The first is to enter by clicking the Ying/Yang symbol. This will take you to our Links for Family & Friends. This is our page of general links. You must use the Jim & Ann Index Banner at the top under the advertisement or at the bottom of each our pages to proceed to another page within our site. The second is to use our Fast Finder to our site, located on the main page. This will take you to different areas of our front page and to all the other pages contained within our site. The selections in the left collum when clicked will open another browser window so that you may tab back to the front page without having to reload the page. The third way to veiw this website is use the site map also known as the Table of Contents located at the lower end of the first page. It will also open a link in a new window. The difference here is that it will take you right to the beggining of the links relating to the description in the site map.
The Main Page is our main entrance to this site. Don't forget to scroll down this page sometime, the content will most likely change on occasion. We've placed a few search engines and our communication center in the main page for easy access to us and others. The Home Page Herald for ever changing news and Weather can be found on this page. Unique to this page other than our Flash banner, you will find our "Fast Finder", "Our Friends Web Sites" and special links such as seasonal or for southeastern Massachusetts folks. Also a sitemap designed to give our visitors an optional way to explore our site. Each link will open each page in a new browser window. So this is the recommended page to bookmark, but feel free to bookmark anywhere that suits you. That is, if you find this site worth bookmarking at all.
For our Links for the Family page, as with all our links elsewhere, much attention has been given to sellecting useful, informative and entertaining websites to link to. Some shareware and game links have also been added here. You will find informative links focusing on areas such as news, weather, government, computers, technology and the web. Along with entertaining links for adults and kids alike. Basically this is our place to put general links of various subjects. Plus you can check out our other pages for finding Help for Novice and Advanced Computer Users. We've included our Downloads Page also linked from our help page with a few items that you may find to be useful. Look through our list of Government Agencys where you will find links to NASA, CIA, FBI and much more. We've set up Find directions, maps, people and places page to find pretty much anybody or anyplace and how to get there.
To add our own flavor to this site we have put together a couple of special pages. One being our Photos page. That page was done to pacify Jim, he ocassionally has this urge to play with pictures and he needed someplace to put them. Maybe you will find them entertaining. If not, maybe the other information located from there will be interesting enough. The other is the Communication page that was put together with the novice internet user in mind and set up so that family and freinds will always have a way to contact us even if they lose our home address. All visitors are warmly welcome to contact us through the use of our ICQ Pannel, Message Board or E-mail.
The Communication Center of our site will take you to our page that will let you get in touch with us and guide you to some of the different chat programs, BBS and webcams found on the internet. Also we included a little introduction about some different ways to transfer information using the web.
We have also added a page for all the little folks too. The Kids Page has links to inform the parrents on how to protect their children from the perils of the web. Along with links of fun and educational sites designed specifically for kids.
We have scattered throughout the site Tips and Information along with search engines where we thought they would be helpful. Finishing this all off with a good selection of search engines on our Search Page.
